Robin Yount Baseball HOF Stats bat-

Robin R Yount
Inducted to the Hall of Fame in: 1999
Primary team: Milwaukee Brewers
Primary position: Shortstop

Robin Yount left everything on the field during his 20-year big league career with the Milwaukee Brewers.  In fact, Yount left it all over the field – winning the American League Most Valuable Player Award at two positions and establishing himself as one of the most versatile players in history.

He was a productive hitter who excelled in the field at two of baseball’s most challenging positions: shortstop and centerfield. Playing his entire 20-year career with the Milwaukee Brewers, Yount collected more hits in the 1980s than any other player, finishing his career with 3,142. An everyday major leaguer at age 18, Yount earned two American League Most Valuable Player awards: 1982 at shortstop and 1989 in centerfield. In 1982, Yount led the Brewers to the World Series.
